Shore power (coastal electricity) systems are increasingly preferred to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of ships in ports. These systems allow ships to shut down their engines while docked and draw power from the shore, leading to fuel savings and minimizing environmental impact. Shore power solutions from leading brands like DEIF offer high efficiency in reliable energy transfer, synchronization, and energy management.
The Q Series is ASEA’s smallest and lightest shore power converter. The unit features a stackable, modular configuration ideal for refit installations and tight spaces. The 50 kVA and higher units utilize our latest technology, which allows for reduced capacity operation should a single module be compromised. The system can also be ordered in a two-piece configuration (QTP).
The Q series offers the widest range of power levels. Q models between 125 kVA and 165 kVA are considered “Mega Qs” and are popular on larger projects for their high power density.
Introducing the world’s smallest and lightest shore power converter: the Marpower SPC-II Shore Power Converter. This air-cooled system converts all shore power and frequency into a high-quality, reliable and safe onboard power supply. The result: usable shore power at every port in the world. The SPC-II is designed for mega yachts and other applications where size, weight and flexibility are of great importance.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are crucial for industrial and commercial applications where critical loads need protection. Online UPS systems continuously regulate incoming power, providing clean and uninterrupted energy to connected devices. This ensures full protection against fluctuations, sudden outages, and power surges. Especially for sensitive electronic systems, data centers, and medical devices, online UPS solutions guarantee reliable power continuity, allowing operations to run smoothly without interruptions.
